Our live and virtual events bring together librarian thought leaders and industry experts along with staff editors and supporting vendors to offer forward-thinking conversations, presentations, and interactive platforms on a variety pressing industry topics on the changing digital environment.

Our Live Events
Library Journal and School Library Journal offer various live events throughout the nation to bring the library community together to discuss the issues affecting libraries today and to tackle the questions facing libraries of the future. Topics such as building a digital collection, changing reading habits and the emerging app landscape are just a few of the themes brought to the table during our events which range from seminars on building and design to our Day of Dialog to daylong summits for library leaders.

Our Virtual Events
In 2010, Library Journal and School Library Journal hosted our first Virtual Summit on ebooks and libraries titled, Ebooks: Libraries at the Tipping Point. With more than 2,000 individual participants and 250+ site license viewers, it was clear that virtual conferences are an important meeting place for library professionals. Our online conferences provide you with the chance to hear from experts and discuss the latest in industry news, technology, and professional development, and our virtual platform provides the opportunity for conversations with your peers from across the globe on these topics and more, all right from your computer.
