Gretchen Freeman is currently the Associate Director for Technology at the Salt Lake County library system in Utah and directs technology strategy, implementation and operations for its 21 libraries circulating 15.7 million items. Gretchen implemented RFID in 18 of the libraries to reduce processing time and improve customer service. She is particularly interested in maximizing the benefits of new technologies to improve workflow, staffing patterns, and self-services. |
