The National Rural Education Technology Summit 2.0 will take place Monday, April 30 from 12 to 6 pm EDT. The program for the first-ever virtual conference, sponsored by the U.S. DOE, will cover robotics (student participation encouraged), college and career readiness and more.
The Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center will present “Bringing the Smithsonian to You” at 1 p.m. The presentation will highlight free online professional development opportunities, instructional resources, and an online badging program that helps rural educators incorporate media-rich, engaging project-based learning into their lessons.
