From

School Library Journal contributing editor Rocco Staino grabbed a quick interview with Sal Khan, founder of the nonprofit video learning site Khan Academy. Both were on hand at the Celebration of Teaching and Learning, held March 16-17 in New York.

In October 2010, Khan was tied for #34 in Fortune’s annual “40 Under 40,” a list recognizing business’s hottest rising stars and recently listed at number 7 on Fast Company’s list of the 100 Most Creative People in Business, according to his event bio.

  1. Rocco Staino–Great interview! I enjoyed it as much as the interview on Charlie Rose. I’m glad to know there is a Kahn AcDemy app, which I am going to download as soon as I finish writing this!

I really enjoy your point of view, and am always enlightened and usually amused by your articles about reading, libraries and education news.
